Since much of my conceptualization of this project has come from being in the physical space where the installation will take place, Charlotte and I tested out some arrangements in the hoop house.
While we initially thought that we would fill the entire space with projections and audio, we quickly realized that we needed to divide some of the space to emulate the overwhelm we are going for.
We tested out two different speakers in different parts of the hoop house. While the original plan was to use five speakers, this test led us to the conclusion that three of four would be enough.
Although we haven’t tested the projectors at night yet, we found out that there is an outlet in the hoop house itself (yay!) and that we won’t have to use a big extension cord.
